This exclusive 10-inch vinyl single presents two brand new recordings from Jesus Christ Superstar, performed by Sam Ryder in the iconic role of Jesus. Recorded direct to analogue tape at British Grove Studios and produced by Fraser T Smith (Adele/Dave/Stormzy) alongside Andrew Lloyd Webber and Sam Ryder, these tracks were captured ahead of Sam’s forthcoming starring role in the new production at The London Palladium and Theatre Royal Drury Lane, bringing a raw, fresh energy to this legendary score.

On side A is the emotionally charged ‘Gethsemane’, featuring Sam’s powerhouse vocals, while Side B showcases ‘What’s The Buzz’, reimagined with an extended jam session that showcases the phenomenal studio band. Recorded on tape as a deliberate nod to the original 1970 album, which launched the global phenomenon that is Jesus Christ Superstar.

With lyrics by Tim Rice and music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, this recording is pressed on striking 10-inch off-white vinyl.
